What is fitness coaching?
Fitness coaching is a free program for members. Our fitness center staff take the time to sit down and help you plan and strategize your SMART goals. This includes taking you through a brief health history, body composition and heart rate discussion, goal setting, and finally helping you decide what programs and services are the best fit for your goals.
How can I get connected with coaching?
Simply call the YMCA to have a staff member schedule your appointment or walk up to the fitness desk in the cardio center. Fitness coaching sessions are typically scheduled on the hour. Appointments are available from 6 a.m. -8 p.m.
What programs can my coach get me connected to?
A fitness coach can connect you with any adult program at the Y.
