The YMCA is a cause-driven organization invested in the greater St. Cloud community. Our volunteers are advocates for a better tomorrow who selflessly gift their time and talents to help advance the Y’s cause and make a meaningful difference in the lives of others. Our volunteers not only help strengthen our community, but strengthen themselves through meaningful experiences and purposeful impact.

Volunteer Opportunities

Front desk / Greeter

The Y is the front porch of our community and we're looking for people who want to help their neighbors. In this position, you'll get to know our members and guests, assist with questions or requests, and provide excellent customer service.

Custodial / Maintenance

A quality member experience at the Y begins with maintaining a healthy environment. This is accomplished through consistent cleaning and maintenance of the facility and equipment. We’re looking for people with maintenance skills, an interest in general deep cleaning, and more.

Kid Zone helper

Kid Zone is a safe and fun environment where kids play, create, and explore while their parents or caregivers workout. If you love kids and are looking to make a positive impact in a child's day, this is the right opportunity for you! Part time employment opportunities are also available.

Youth Sports coach

This is where the love for a sport begins! We're looking for people who enjoy working with kids, have sport-specific knowledge, and can be a role model for sportsmanship and fair play. We do all the heavy lifting so you can have a rewarding coaching experience!
