Gym
The YMCA strives to provide a quality home school physical education program focused on building healthy habits. Each 4-week session is centered on a specific sport to maximize the student's understanding and skill development. Over the course of the school year, students will rotate through a wide-variety of sports and physical activity.

Keep Your Kids Active and Engaged
At the YMCA, we understand the importance of physical activity in every child’s development. That’s why our Home School Gym Program is designed to provide a fun, structured, and educational environment for home-schooled children to stay active, build friendships, and learn valuable skills.
Home School Gym is for kids ages 5-16.
Parents of homeschooled children enjoy utilizing the wholesome Y environment to provide values-based and age-appropriate activities.
Approximate Schedule:
- 2:15 p.m. – Gather in Lobby/ Warm-up
- 2:20-3 p.m. – Group physical education activity
- 3-3:45 p.m. – Monthly unit
- 3:45-4:15 p.m. – Free time in gym
- 4:15 p.m. – Meet parents in lobby
