Yoga is a practice that connects the body, breath, and mind. It uses physical postures, breathing exercises, and meditation to improve overall health. The Y offers multiple styles of yoga including Yoga Flow, Slow Flow Yoga, Yin Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Chair Yoga, Strength & Restore Yoga, Ashtanga Vinyasa, and Hatha Yoga. Find a class for you!

Cardio Class
High-intensity interval training. Basic exercises that aim to get you up to your max heart rate-delivering maximum results! A cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic movements with less intense recovery periods.
Cycle is one of the best ways to improve cardiovascular fitness while burning calories. This class is minimal impact and can accommodate all ability levels.
This class is a combination of Cycle for the first half of the class then followed by core and deeper stretches to finish.

A class designed to tone and strengthen all major muscle groups with weight plates, dumbbells, bands, body weight, and/or stability balls.
An upper body workout that strengthens the shoulders, triceps, biceps, upper back, and chest using dumbbells and/or bands. This class also focuses on exercises that strengthen your core. All levels are welcome.

TRX is a form of suspension training that uses body weight exercises to develop strength, balance, flexibility, and core stability simultaneously. It requires the use of the TRX Suspension Trainer, a tool that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform the exercises. All levels welcome.

This class consists of foundation-building poses that will ease you into the discovery of your body’s potential by challenging the muscles and deepening the breath. You can expect to use the teacher for a visual guide and hands-on assists. Accessible to beginner students.

This class works deeply into the body targeting connective tissues (ligaments, joints, bones, and fascia) rather than the muscles. Quiet and meditative, yin yoga’s organic enhancement of energetic flow will draw you inward as seated and reclined postures are held for 3-5 minutes. Accessible to beginner students with supported floor postures.
This class emphasizes the mind-body connection and moves at a pace that allows students to explore and decide how much to do. We focus on range of movement, alignment, strengthening, stretching, awareness, breathing, and relaxation. The class is appropriate for students of all ages and levels.
A relaxing style of yoga that is intended to be healing and nurturing for the body. Alleviate excess stress and tension through restorative floor poses. Increase body awareness and core stability, while fostering strength and flexibility by way of mindful warrior and balance postures.
Follows a specific sequence of poses, and will be taught traditionally, but in its shorter form. This class will flow through the same postures in the same sequence each time. However, the speed of this class, the strong encouragement to move swiftly with each breath, in addition to repeated half vinyasas is at an intermediate level. All levels are welcome.

Active Older Adults
This class for active older adults includes a short warm up for mobility, followed by strength exercises using dumbbells and bands, and then concludes with deep stretching to increase flexibility and range of motion. All exercises are conducted in either a standing or seated position.
This gentle form of yoga is practiced sitting on a chair or using a chair for support during standing poses. Chair yoga increases flexibility, lung capacity, circulation, strength, improves balance, and relieves stress. The class incorporates breathing exercises, stretching, yoga postures, and final relaxation.
