At the St. Cloud Area Family YMCA, we know that motivating yourself to go to the gym is hard, especially when you have a jam-packed schedule.

However, if maintaining a healthy lifestyle is important to you, you have to work to find the time. To help, the YMCA has carefully placed some of our favorite Group Exercise classes in time slots that you can work into your 8 to 5 workday this summer.

 


 

For the Early Birds

Starting your day with exercise can set a positive tone for the rest of your day. Check out our Morning Exercise Blog to learn some of the benefits of working out in the morning.

 

H.I.I.T.

Mondays at 5:10 a.m.

Studio A

First thing, Monday morning, join Cathy for a dynamic class that pushes you to your maximum heart rate, leading to incredible results in a shorter amount of time.

 

Cycle Strength

Mondays at 6:00 a.m.

Cycle Studio

Combine strength and cardio in this one-of-a-kind cycling class.

 

Deep Water Fitness

Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 6:00 a.m. 

Lap Pool

Enhance your endurance with a fun, full-body workout in the deep end of the pool.

 

TRX

Mondays at 7:00 a.m.

Tuesdays & Fridays at 5:10 a.m.

Tuesdays at 6:00 a.m.

Studio B

You will see many varieties of TRX on the list, and there’s a good reason for that. The TRX suspension trainer is a useful tool that leverages gravity and your body weight to perform a variety of exercises.

 

Muscle Pump

Tuesdays at 6:00 a.m.

Studio A

Strengthen all your major muscle groups with weight plates, dumbbells, resistance bands, and more.

 

Cycle Fusion

Wednesdays at 5:15 a.m.

Cycle Studio

Another fresh take on a traditional cycling class, Cycle Fusion will combine cycling with core exercises and deep stretches.

 

Yoga Fusion

Wednesdays at 5:15 a.m.
