Pickleball for a cause! This event is for all skill levels who are looking to have fun, meet new people, and enjoy a lot of pickleball. There’s no elimination, no teams, and everyone is guaranteed seven games. All proceeds support YMCA Day of Giving!

Refreshments provided. The event is a non-sanctioned tournament.

How it works:

  • Register as an individual in your preferred tournament timeslot.
  • The tournament will begin with a random draw of 16 players and four pool play games. The 5-8 p.m. tournament will have a random draw of 12 players and three pool play games.
  • A YMCA staff member will draw names and you will be randomly partnered with different people for each game.
  • After pool play, players will be ranked 1 through 16 based on total points scored and placed in divisions. Players ranked 1-4 will play in Division 1. Players ranked 5-8 will play in Division 2, etc.
  • Each division will be assigned a court and the division play becomes its own tournament amongst those four players. Everyone on that court will play with each other for a total of three games.

How to win:

The player with the most points in each Division will be awarded a prize! In Division play, you’ll be awarded the number of points you scored during each game.

For example, John and Kathy played Nick and Lisa with a final score of 11-6. John and Kathy each get 11 points. Nick and Lisa each get 6 points.

Tournament Rules:

  • In pool play, games will go to 11 straight and in bracket play games would be standard pickleball score to 11 win by two with a 15-point max.
  • Tournament director decisions are final.
