As a community, we have imagined an outdoor water park that will welcome current and new members, as well as draw visitors and guests from across the region. We’re ready to make it happen at the St. Cloud Area YMCA. The Outdoor Water Park will:
- Fulfill a long-time community desire for an outdoor water park attraction that engages all ages
- Create multi-generational connections and spaces to enrich relationships and foster community
- Provide leadership development opportunities for youth and young adults with job and volunteer opportunities each summer
- Align with our vision to serve 30% of our community
Catch the Vision
It is our desire to be the front porch of the community — to bring neighbors and newcomers together through physical, educational and spiritual growth. We'll keep evolving to meet the needs of our community by:
- Expanding access with new locations and spaces
- Increasing and diversifying member engagement
- Serving as the community cornerstone of support and innovation
The first two priorities in our plan to do this include:
- Outdoor Water Park
- St. Joseph Community Center & YMCA

- The St. Cloud Area Y is more than a community wellness and fitness facility. We are a nonprofit dedicated to ensuring access to quality facilities and community programs.
- Our mission is to put Christian principles into practice through programs that build a healthy spirit, mind and body for every individual.
- With a focus on Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility, expanded services and resources in these areas will improve individual lives and enrich the St. Cloud and surrounding communities.
